About Me

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by.

I'm Jess, and I'm a stained glass artist living in the mountain landscapes of the Scottish Highlands. I grew up in Northumberland, and moved up to the Highlands in Summer of 2024, with my husband, our two dogs and our snakes. Since settling here, I have expanded our pet collection with the addition of Chicken Village, and our (currently!) 12 chickens, who I adore. You might see them appearing in the background of photos on occasion, as they truly have a will of their own and enjoy a good photobomb.

I've been a lover of all things creative for many years, starting out as a musician all throughout my teen years into early adulthood, expanding into fibreworks such as knitting and sewing, alongside more traditional mediums like watercolour and oil painting. I started my stained glass journey in 2023, and have never looked back. I adore working with glass, using such an inflexible and hard material to make beautiful, flowing and cohesive pieces, choosing the right glass for the right project and bringing an piece of art all the way from initial design to a finished product for you to see.

When designing pieces for you to see and potentially purchase, I wanted to have a core range of smaller, fun creations inspired by my life in Scotland, and Scottish traditions or things you might typically expect to encounter here! I also wanted to create some more unique pieces inspired by another love of mine; fantasy and literature. I wanted to create some pieces that brought to life the realms of authors that I adore and am inspired by, and give you the chance to feel like you've got a little bit of that world right at home next to you.

Each piece you see available is made entirely by hand by me and me alone. I take huge amounts of pride and care in my work, and will never send something out that I'm not one hundred percent happy with! I hope you love them as much as I do.
